The Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the company, ensuring that our clients experience outstanding adventures through the considered and precise logistics on any given trip departure.

In Brief:

  • Role: Operations Coordinator
  • Office Location: Kirkby Lonsdale including flexible & hybrid working
  • Type: Full Time permanent, Typically Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30 but with occasional evening and weekend working – 35 hours per week
  • Office Time: 95% In the field – 5%
  • Salary: starting at £22,000 per annum

We’re looking for someone who

  • Has experience in operations/admin roles, ideally in the travel & tourism industry
  • Is competent in the use of CRM systems, like Salesforce as well as Google Apps and Mac applications
  • Has experience of the activities we offer although no need to be highly skilled in these activities, we’ll leave that to our guides
  • Knows their way around England and can confidently describe it – knowledge of Wales & Scotland is also great to have but not essential
  • Is committed to sustainability and is an advocate for wild places and our planet

Your responsibilities will primarily include

  • Making reservations with accommodation, transport and other service providers to fulfil the overall departure logistics for our clients
  • Reacting to guide/client requests arising before or during trip departures to ensure a seamless travel experience
  • Improvement of existing itineraries to ensure they remain of the highest quality and logistically balanced for the benefit of our clients and guides
  • Ensuring communications with partners and suppliers are effectively managed to ensure we build positive relationships with hotels, guest houses and activity providers
