Originally from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland, I moved to Edinburgh to study and gained Degrees in Event Management and Sport and Recreation Management before joining the Wilderness Team in October 2010. Having worn a number of hats in the business, I have found my feet in the Operations Team, working behind the scenes to make the magic on the trips happen.
Place to Play
On the Road bike it has to be the climbs including Wrynose, Hardknott, Honsiter and Kirstone Pass around the Lakes. One of my best memories of cycling in England was following the routes of the Tour de Yorkshire, Tour De France and the Road Cycling World Championships. The village of Pateley Bridge is a great spot to base yourself for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
Not a lot of people know this
My dog “Pip” is a Patterdale Terrier, hailing from the Lake District. She gets more “likes” on Instagram than I do!
