This trip offers a great cross-border adventure. Over 5 days you will ride through the beautiful regions of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders experiencing some of the UK’s most amazing coastline and unspoilt rural villages.
Each day offers something different from the imposing castles and charming coastal villages of Northumberland, to the rolling hills and vast vistas of the Cheviot and Border hills. Along the way you’ll pass many natural and historic sites, including several Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nature reserves, the world-famous heritage of Lindisfarne on Holy Island plus the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and Warkworth Castle. As you journey north you’ll cross into Scotland on some of the best cycling roads the country has to offer before riding through the Lammermuir Hills to reach your finish point on the coast at North Berwick, near Edinburgh.
