Lucy Vincent

Our guide Lucy- was wonderful-everything a guide should be- knowledgable-friendly-funny-adaptable-on top of what everyone needed-changing things sometimes from the routine which made it more fun ( our impromptu picnic lunch one day as an example- nice change from just another sandwich )-helpful-attentive - she was great- I would be happy to have her as my guide again-

Lucy was professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, cheerful, and delightful---a rare combination.

Lucy is a marvel. She used her knowledge of the area and experience with other groups to adjust to the conditions of the day and the needs and wishes of the group. (See my earlier comments on lunches!) When rain was expected in the afternoon, for example, she moved the hiking part of the outing to maximize our time outside in dry weather. When we all felt chipper one morning, she moved the starting point of our hike a few kilometers farther from our final destination so that we got to enjoy more of the scenery. She knows the area so well that she was able to provide lots of background information (one day, for example, she pointed out a rock formation where she planned to go climbing the following weekend). And there is no matching her for funny stories!!

Our guide Lucy was exceptional. Her knowledge of the area was excellent and her flexibility to adapt to different situations and every person’s individual requests was very much appreciated. Nothing was a problem for her. Great personality and patience.

Lucy was a warm, engaging and knowledgeable guide. Her ability to ensure that every member of the group was able to participate as much as they were able in the walks was outstanding.

Lucy did an excellent job in all aspects. First-rate.

Lucy was amazing. She adjusted schedules, dealt with many transportation issues and generally solved problems of all sorts without ever seeming the least bit bothered. She was supportive and encouraging and generally one of the best guides we have ever had, and we have done a lot of hiking trips (more than 20).

Lucy was very clear each day on the activities planned and if any other options were available to choose from to better accommodate preferences of the clients.

Lucy was amazing. She experienced obstacles at the outset but managed very effectively (the van was in an accident before we arrived so she had to make other transportation arrangements (it seemed seamless to us). She easily accommodated everyone's needs and levels of hiking. She was entertaining and very thoughtful in her choices. We have been on numerous trips and we must say that she might have been the best guide ever.

Lucy went over and above to make the loss of our van at the beginning of our trip a non-event for us. She worked her tail off making transportation seem seamless to the traveler

Lucy was above and beyond any guide I've had. From planning, driving and accomodating everyone's wishes..to her overall expertise..she was phenomenal!
