      I am glad I went on the trip. It was at the top of my ability level, but with the great help and support of Nat and the group I made it triumphantly on all the hikes. I look forward to similar trips, particularly if they are more on the level of ambling around the UK.

      When I biked through Snowdonia on the Five Countries Bike Tour in 2017, I wished that I could spend more time exploring the park. At the time, I wrote: "Looking at the map, and the roads not taken ...
