      After a lifetime in industry, I chose to retire at 52 and finally pursue the adventures I had always dreamed of. At home in the Lake District, I find endless joy in walking the high fells with my cocker spaniel, immersing myself in the ever-changing landscape and the wildlife that surrounds me.

      For the past 15 years, I’ve been guiding across the world, spending a great deal of time in England and Scotland, exploring all the hidden gems.

      Lake District is home and I think I know every little spot for a walk on any given day and weather to escape the crowds.

      Not a lot of People Know This

      I spend a lot of time on golf courses and once managed to beat Sir Nick Faldo at Wentworth in a social game, although I did receive a few extra shots compared to Nick!
