    Mini Bio

I’m originally from Yorkshire and grew up exploring the dales, mountains, lakes and rivers of Northern England. I still think there is nothing better than a day out in the fells, followed by either tea and cake in one of the many gorgeous tea rooms or a pint in a cosy English pub.

I also love skiing, canoeing and sea kayaking and I do get dragged up a climb or two a year by my super keen partner, but usually end up belaying for him, as long as we can get cake afterwards.

    Favourite Place to Play

The Lake District, it’s so beautiful and there are so many special spots, but I particularly love Langdale. It has a great combination of stunning fells, a gorgeous campsite to stay in and a few super cosy pubs to hunker down in after a day out.

Not a lot of People Know This

I once greeted all the dignitaries arriving at Buckingham Palace for a garden party, including Tony Blair who was the prime minister at the time.
