Mark Lipton

The itinerary was great. We had perfect preparation for our long hiking day, and Mark was able to accommodate a wide range of experience levels (there were 8 people in our group, four 20-somethings and 4 60-somethings). Whether it was scaling back on some experiences or giving us a challenge, Mark was always flexible. Mark was also very knowledgeable about each hike and location, and was generally very well-prepared for each day.

We fell in love with Mark immediately. This guide is by far the best ever and he has become a part of our family now. I wouldn’t take the experience back for anything. Mark did everything that he possibly could to make sure that we were all taken care of and had an absolute great time. He was there whenever we needed him and immediately responded. He’s been great absolutely deserves a raise. By far, one of the best guides I ever could imagined. He was always ready for an adventure and to show us what there was that we could do. He was always positive always cared about each person, he was gracious, was always positive, and made sure that each one of us were included in questions and activities

Our guide was Mark Lipton. Mark was highly knowledgable, superbly prepared, and a delight to travel with. He made his work appear effortless, although I am certain managing every detail of our itinerary (including last-minute changes) while catering to the diverse personalities and preferences of eight women (not to mention handling all of our luggage and gear) was taxing. He never flagged or missed a beat. Mark's capabilities and trustworthiness made us all feel we were in the best of hands, and his good humor set the perfect tone each day.

Mark Lipton was an outstanding guide and leader. His passion for the outdoors is highly evident, as well as his extensive knowledge of seemingly everything. He quickly created a fun team-oriented environment while also insuring individualized preferences were taken into account. He also went above and beyond to find out information about a painting I enjoyed in a castle that wasn't labeled, which I sincerely appreciated.

He was great.
