Every step of the way Simon led with exceptional patience, consideration and diligence. We experienced unusually high temps during the trip but always felt safe and cared for. Simon’s passion for sharing the history and culture of his beloved Cornwall shone through at every stage. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed being in his company each day.

The benefits of a guide with strong local knowledge are innumerable. Simon has a passion for the area, his home, as well as a desire to show Cornwall at its best. As the heatwave took hold Simon was able to put together an excellent programme of events within the capabilities of the group in light of the extreme weather conditions. Simon is knowledgeable, approachable, humble and with a dry and quiet sense of humour is unchallenged in guiding a group of mixed ability walkers in Cornwall. We could not have wished for a better leader.

Our Guide Simon was marvellous.
His informative manner and local knowledge was great. When the weather was unsuitable for the planned walking route, he organised alternatives which were very enjoyable. We got to see more points of interest and still walked some smaller distances.
Nothing was too much trouble.

Simon was great company, managed the group really well and was flexible when very hot weather made original itinerary difficult.
