Mini Bio
I am what my friends call me ‘a climbing lifer’ as there is nothing better than being in the mountains high on a crag face or mountain top with friends and new acquaintances. I have just finished ten years of teaching adventure leadership in higher education, and now it’s time for me to spend more time helping others to enjoy the great British outdoors. I have been a very active mountaineer, caver and rock climber for over 40 years and have loved teaching and helping others to feel safe and challenged in the outdoor environment, over the last 20 years.
It is a total pleasure and a great privilege to host and guide visitors to England each year. My job is to help them connect with all the wonders we have here so that they may return home as ambassadors for this wonderful country.
Place to Play
Anywhere, where there are mountains or mountains in the background. They can range from the sea and sea cliffs of Cornwall to the Munro’s of Scotland.
Not a lot of people know this
I have completed two Ironman triathlons, one being the Norseman Extreme Triathlon, reputedly the hardest Ironman/triathlon in the world.
