Mini Bio
I am now living the dream in my third career, having worked in marketing, then as a teacher, and now as an outdoor instructor, walking guide and leadership development facilitator. I am happiest when outdoors in the countryside, enjoying our beautiful landscapes, flora, and fauna.
I have been lucky to have had the pleasure of living in many beautiful areas of the British Isles – Southern England, North Yorkshire, Dorset, The Cotswolds, and Scotland. We have finally settled back in Dorset, in the South West, and I am surrounded by an incredible playground. I can’t wait to share our beautiful and diverse country and show you some of my favourite haunts!
Favourite Place to Play
I spent time as a child living in The Cotswolds – who can’t resist the honey-coloured stone, rolling pastures and wooded Wolds?
Or perhaps North Yorkshire? Brought to life by Emily Bronte’s Mr Lockwood, it was a beautiful, solitary place, “a perfect misanthropist’s Heaven”.
My favourite is my home – Dorset, in the southwest of England. With over half of the county designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, no one can deny that Dorset is truly unique!
Not a lot of People Know This
I am fiercely competitive and have skied and windsurfed at a national level.
