Mini Bio

I was born and raised in the Lake District, Cumbria, and my love of mountains grew with me. My portfolio career took me to many places in corporate life, but I frequently headed home to the mountains.

I worked for a spell in Asia and managed to hike mountains and head down caves here and around the world.

Eventually, in 2019, I made my love for the outdoors my work as well as my passion. I have since worked with all ages; guiding, educating and passing on my love for the outdoors.

My home in the Lake District, Cumbria; small, compact, and so varied.

When I worked in corporate IT, I got my outdoor ‘kick’ by competing with horses in event riding.
