I was born in Paris and raised in a small town in the Loire Valley in France. When I turned 30, I made the best decision of my life. I left a promising yet soul-destroying career in industrial real estate to live and work as a scuba diving instructor. This work took me to southeast Asia, America, France, Egypt and the Maldives.
In 2010, I moved to Bath, a city in southwest England. Here, I enjoyed exploring Cornwall, Devon and the Cotswolds. I was also well-placed to go running in the Lake District, mountain biking in Wales, and walking in the Scottish wilderness. I continued to enjoy cycling in Provence, scuba diving, and skiing in the Alps in the winter.
It was only natural that all of this would evolve into lead walking holidays, sharing my knowledge of these fantastic places and my passion for the natural world.
Wetland, moorland, forests, hills, mountains, ancient monuments, historic villages, the coast… I love it all!
I was awarded the Bronze Medal of the National Defence during my military service in the French Cavalry

I have been a full-time professional trip leader on walking and nature holidays since 2017, leading more than 70 trips in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Trekking Mt Pinatubo in the Philippines a few years after the eruption, with a bivouac under the rim. There was an eerie silence due to the complete absence of wildlife, punctuated by a wild swim in the opaque and fuming waters of the lake crater. The most dangerous part was the jeepney ride back to Manila.
