    Mini Bio

Based in the United Kingdom, I have been called Cube far longer than my ‘normal’ name. I have worked and climbed as a mountain guide for the last 30 years in various capacities in many parts of the world including where I live in the local Cairngorm Mountains.

In my spare time, I have also explored UK’s coasts in my sea kayak and on a tandem bicycle with my partner Shona.

    Favourite Place to Play

Road biking across the UK, loads of permutations in this varied and scenic landscape.

Not a lot of People Know This

Once upon a time, I used to go to work in a suit.

Excellent, excellent. Both guides obviously were extremely experienced, over qualified. Good sense of humor and knew the route inside out. I would travel with them anytime. Every aspect of the trip was taken care of. Both had traveled to New Zealand so it provided a good talking point.

Absolutely loved Cube and Dave. They made the trip fun. I learned so much about Scottish history and cycling from them. When the rides were challenging they lent encouragement. I would ride any tour with them.
