    Mini Bio

I have travelled, lived in and explored over 60 countries across five continents. Most recently, I traded life in Africa for the breathtaking landscapes of the Lake District, fulfilling a lifelong ambition to immerse myself in its mountains, valleys, and trails while sharing my love for the outdoors with others.

My passion for adventure began early, exploring the crags of the Peak District with my father. A 20 year career in the Army allowed me to develop my skills as a global mountaineer, expedition leader, and outdoor enthusiast, gaining experience and qualifications along the way.

In 2020, I made the Lake District my home, seeking a better work-life balance and a deeper connection with nature. Today, I spend my time hiking long distance trails, climbing the Wainwrights with my dog, and working alongside like-minded people who share my appreciation for the great outdoors. For me, this journey isn’t just about exploration—it’s about embracing a way of life that keeps me connected to nature and adventure every day.

The magnificent and beautiful Lake District National Park. A playground for the outdoor enthusiast with its rugged fells, lakes, and rich cultural and historic heritage to discover, explore and be inspired by.
